About the University of Waterloo Special Collections & Archives: The University of Waterloo Library contributes to the achievement of the University’s goals by collaborating with the community in teaching, learning, research and service. Special Collections & Archives contains over 80,000 rare books and periodicals as well as 4,000 linear feet of archival holdings. Collecting areas include local history, spiritualism and theosophy, the history of mathematics and computation, and gender and sexuality studies.
