About the Central Judicial Library: The Central Judicial Library of Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia was established after the disintegration of Austro‑Hungary in 1918. The collection of the Central Judicial Library is extremely rich, encompassing all Slovenian literature from the field of law and justice, a significant part of the Yugoslav literature as well as foreign legal literature. The oldest books orign from 16th century. Old books collection is an especially precious resource for the justice system, as it has an important role in the development of the legal profession, and as such it also represents an extraordinary resource for the studies of legal history. It is aimed at all lawyers (judges, state prosecutors, professional staff, barristers) and is available also to students of law and other users from the general public.
