Gaston County Museum Coloring Book
About the Gaston County Museum: The Gaston County Museum seeks to interpret the art and history of Gaston County, North Carolina, and the region through education, preservation, and collection. The museum is housed in the historic Hoffman Hotel, built in 1852 to provide food and lodging to visitors, jurors, and court officials who frequented the Gaston County Courthouse. Museum interpretation centers on the rich history of area textile mills during the 19th and 20th centuries, Reconstruction Era history in Gaston County following the Civil War and up until the Civil Rights movement, and highlights regional art and artists from the 19th century to the present.
