About the Gore Place: The mission of Gore Place is to preserve and promote the 1806 country estate of Christopher and Rebecca Gore as a unique community resource that tells the story of early 19th century American life. Our 1806 mansion is one of the best examples of Federalist architecture in the Northeast. We have one of the largest collections of Boston-made furniture.
