Palanga Amber Museum Coloring Book
About the Palanga Amber Museum: More than 5000 exhibits are represented in the Palanga Amber Museum – a branch of the Lithuanian Art Museum – which was established in 1963 in Count Feliks Tyszkiewicz mansion (built in 1987). Visitors are invited to explore the historical interiors as well as to discover a wealth of unique pieces of amber, amber inclusions or fauna and flora, covered by fossilized tree resin, archaeological findings and amber jewellery. They are acquainted with the formation, processing, practical application, and morphological variations of amber. The Museum is surrounded by the Palanga Botanical park, created by French landscape designer Édouard François André (late 19th century).
