About the Queen’s University Library: Queen’s University Library comprises six physical service points across campus in support of Queen’s University’s vision as a Canadian research-intensive university with a transformative student learning experience. With collections that have been developed since the University’s founding in 1841, today QUL is a member of consortia and associations including the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL), the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL), the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN), the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), and the Center for Research Libraries (CRL).
W.D. Jordan Rare Books and Special Collections, located within Douglas Library, is a research and teaching resource for students, faculty, and the larger university community, preserving and providing access to a variety of materials including rare books, maps, posters, and a significant Canadiana collection. The Bracken Health Sciences Library provides information services and resources including knowledge synthesis support to students, faculty and researchers across the Health Sciences as well as technology-rich spaces for collaboration and study.
