About The Wren Library, Trinity College Cambridge: The Wren Library hosts an amazing collection, comprising about 1250 western medieval manuscripts (many of which are available via the Wren Digital Library), a substantial collection of non-western manuscripts, 750 incunabula, and around 80,000 books printed before 1820, including the first annotated edition of Newton’s Principia Mathematica, the Capell collection of Shakespeare early editions, the autograph manuscript of Milton’s Paradise Lost, and the manuscript of Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne. Trinity College also possesses an ever-increasing collection of modern manuscripts ranging from single items to large personal archives, all hosted in the Library.
