About the AIA Nashville Society & Nashville Parthenon: The Nashville Parthenon is a 1:1 scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece, and features a colossal statue of Athena, Parthenon Marbles casts, a permanent collection of 18th-20th century American paintings, and rotating exhibitions. The Archaeological Institute of America (AIA)- Nashville Society conducts archaeology programs and outreach in support of the larger AIA mission to promote archaeological inquiry and public understanding of the human past. The AIA- Nashville Society partnered with the Nashville Parthenon in creating coloring pages to encourage thinking about ancient architecture and sculpture in color.
