About The Russian Museum of Ethnography: Ethnographers study peoples (ethnic groups) in time and space, in their unity and cultural specifics. The RME is the first and the largest ethnographic museum in Russia. It tells about simple and close to everybody subjects: how people work, how achieve the highest level of mastery, how they build and organize their houses, how they rest, rear their children, dress and in what they believe. We record the evidences of life which will soon become past.
