About the UCC Library, University College Cork: UCC Library’s Special Collections & Archives invoke the excitement of learning and discovery through the interpretation of their heritage collections. It is home to unique archival collections and manuscripts, early printed books, books from presses, collections from individuals, 18-20th century newspapers, maps and pamphlets. UCC Library’s Special Collections & Archives collections reflect the province of Munster and the wider Irish context. We have achieved international recognition in various areas including: Frank O’Connor, Elizabeth Friedlander, photographic collections, poetry collections, and local presses.
